Meme

  I got tagged for a meme by [info]tispity .

First: If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new question.

Second: Tag eight people (unless you don't want to).

Lots of pillows or just one?
2. I like my own pillow and hate if G mixes ours up. I also dislike it if he tries to touch my pillows in the night. I am quite possessive of them!

If you could travel back in time, where would you go?
Maybe the 1950s - I liked the clothes and the music.

What are your neighbours like?
One side are an older couple, they are nice, friendly. the other side have 2 kids who annoy the hell out of me but they are ok. Their kids leave their toys all over my drive which annoys me but that's life.

Do you have any irrational fears?
No irrational no - I fear flying but I think that's fairly rational. I dislike heights. I don't worry about dying but I worry about the pain of it. I fear being old and living my life in misery and pain just waiting to die. I fear being left on my own - that G will die before me and I'll be like my mum and aunt.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
My obessions can literally change days tyo day, if you can call them obsessions I don't get obsessed really. at the moment I'm into M.I.A, The Manics, Laura Marling, Harry Hills TV Burp, The Factor, The Appr
entice

Do you prefer your junk food sweet, salty or savory?
Savory evey time. Give me a pasty any day!

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
LJ, Facebook, Souther Lurher Rescue, Greyhound Gap, The Oldies Club, Crofview Kennels

What was the last thing you bought?
A sandwhich which has a huge amoung of fat in it, a bottle of water and a packet of crisps. If I'm honest I still feelrough today and couldn't pull myself together enough to sort myself a decent lunch. I have already eaten the sandwich - it's 9.09 am!

What is your greatest fear?
See above.

Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Yes - Twiglets. cigarettes. Tea. Veggies

What do you do to change your mood?
Usually listen to music. Walk the dogs, take a bath, go for a drive.

What would you consider your worst personality flaw?
I'm too self deprecating

Do you want to learn another language?
Maybe Spanish but I'm too lazy.

Five things you always have on you?
Keys, paracetamol, phone, diary, chapstick

Find the closest book currently sitting near you and flip to page 36. What is the first sentence of the second paragraph?
No, you can't change the past.

What's something that you'd like to say to someone right now?
I'm happy to be alone right now.

What are you looking forward to?
Gigs - M.I.A and Manics. My birthday on the 19th

Balls to the tagging

I don't like flying either. The first time I ever stepped foot on a plane I was literally in tears. It hasn't stopped me from going places though and, while I no longer cry on planes, I'm never, ever comfortable on one. I must admit however, seeing half the US from an aerial view and seeing the sun rise above the clouds is really fucking amazing.

I still cry on planes. Brave for you to come to the U.K then. I wrote a little note today and will send it to rger with your book tomorrow if I get chance.

I have gone a bit poetry tastic on you. Sorry I am a MASSIVE geek.

Also love this icon!

Thanks! <3

lol it's okay. I really should read more of it than I actually do so it's a good thing. :-)

I seriously had to stop myself underling bits a going 'ohhh look at this metaphor' and 'what fantastic alliteration'.

I'm not sure it's ballsy enough for you but...we'll see.

hahaha you should have! I quite like seeing what other people see in poetry because it's different for everyone you know?

that was the great thing about teaching it. You'd think you knew a poem, have taught it 20 times then a student would see something new....brilliant.
