4 people have added me in the past few weeks which is really odd, odder still thet have not said a thing to me about it. There's no point most of my entries are friends only. Do I just ignore them?

I find it quite annoying.

If they havent got the decency to at least explain why they added you then i would ignore. We all have said something to you to get on you friends list at the start...

Personally I have had a few people add me without saying anything.

I have noticed that some of these people are friends of my lj friends - but they havent bothered to tell me they were adding me or anything.

It seems a bit odd to me as I dont really feel you can tell much from my profile about me.
Also I don't have one of those 'comment to be added' things because I dont really want random people adding me (due to a bad past experience).

I just ignore them.

it's happened to me too, i just ignored them. i felt a bit rude doing so but then they're more rude to just add without saying anything! some of the people that added me didn't appear to speak english (all their entries were in russian) so i wonder if they could even read my posts if they weren't locked...

Yeah I have some russian people but 2 who use english too. Most odd.

I tend to ignore them, or if they really irritate me I either message them asking them to remove me, or just ban their arse.
